Unlock the power of Direct In Sample Sequencing

Direct In Sample Sequencing (DISS) streamlines your workflow—no library prep, no splitting samples, no integrating disparate datasets, no compatibility issues. For the first time, you can gain high-resolution insights from the native cellular context without compromise.

DISS preserves the spatial and molecular context and integrates with multiomic readouts, all while reducing hands-on time and downstream complexity. Whether you're  performing large-scale pooled screens, or tracking dynamic changes, you get clearer answers, faster.

    Direct sample to insight

DISS on the AVITI24 brings unmatched flexibility with fully automated load-and-go customization.

DISS will be available in two formats, with low output kits now available:

Low output (now available): Direct sequencing of targeted RNA, using a probe that hybridizes to a specific gene or region of interest, like a spacer sequence for CRISPR screening applications.

High output (coming soon): Uses poly-A based chemistry for 3’ transcriptome sequencing via sequential batches to overcome optical crowding. Ideal for large-scale discovery experiments.

Both kits are library-prep free and compatible with cell paint and protein detection for multiomic readouts with no batch effects.

    Unlock new applications

DISS expands the boundaries of what’s possible, incorporating multiomic readouts and empowering faster, simpler workflows.

    • Drug screening with combined multiomic and morphology readouts to identify mechanisms of action, off-target effects, and responder subpopulations—all within a scalable, high-throughput workflow.
    • CRISPR screening, expand the power of optical pooled screens, scaled to thousands of guides

The first fully customizable multiomics system

Say goodbye to locked-in workflows and time-consuming, tedious paths to customization. With AVITI24’s programmable platform, cloud-based workflow designer, and a modular sequencing cartridge, you can:

    • Build custom workflows through intuitive software with flexible cycle lengths and tunable sensitivity
    • Combine multiomic readouts—including cell paint, DISS, and custom protein detection
    • Rapidly customize RNA sequencing with our custom designer for ready-to-order probes
    • Automatically execute complex protocols, end to end
