Targeted sequencing is a cornerstone of modern genomics, enabling efficient exploration of large and complex genomes. In this webinar, we present a comparative analysis of targeted sequencing workflows applied to southeastern varieties of blueberry (Vaccinium sect. Cyanococcus). Using Twist FlexPrepTM with conventional enrichment and sequencing and Twist FlexPrep paired with TrinityTM on-flow cell capture and sequencing on the AVITITM platform, we evaluated differences in data quality and workflow efficiency. While the analysis is rooted in blueberry genomics, the lessons extend broadly to plant and agricultural research.
