Targeted sequencing is a cornerstone of modern genomics, enabling efficient exploration of large and complex genomes. In this webinar, we present a comparative analysis of targeted sequencing workflows applied to southeastern varieties of blueberry (Vaccinium sect. Cyanococcus). Using Twist FlexPrep^TM with conventional enrichment and sequencing and Twist FlexPrep paired with Trinity^TM on-flow cell capture and sequencing on the AVITI^TM platform, we evaluated differences in data quality and workflow efficiency. While the analysis is rooted in blueberry genomics, the lessons extend broadly to plant and agricultural research.
