The Teton™ Slide Kit Tool is an accessory to help remove the metal clips from the slide kit when disassembling.
After aspirating the liquid from each well, turn the slide kit upside down so that the glass is facing up and the wells are facing down. Hold the slide kit along one of the metal clips.
With your other hand, hold the Teton Slide Kit Tool so that “GLASS SURFACE” is on the top. Guide the tool over the metal clip and allow it to hook under the metal clip.
In a smooth motion, rotate the tool down to unclip. Repeat for the other metal clip on the slide kit.
Once the metal clips have been removed, lift the top-right beveled corner of the gasket to allow some air between the gasket and the frame. Then, firmly lift the frame from the gasket.
Grip the top right corner of the slide kit gasket and gently pull to remove it from the sample side.
